Location & equipment directories
Organise sites, rooms, equipment and the information people need to find. Link an existing map or approved records where useful.
Connected information systems
Connect locations, equipment and the information your team relies on. We design and implement directories, knowledge hubs and intelligence systems around your organisation’s requirements.
This is one of Wayrest’s project services, alongside our primary managed IT offering. Maps, documents and training can also be commissioned separately—without a connected system.
Choose the capabilities that solve your problem. These are examples of project work, not compulsory package levels.
Organise sites, rooms, equipment and the information people need to find. Link an existing map or approved records where useful.
Bring documents, SOPs and training together around the relevant location, role or equipment, with named owners and review dates.
Connect authorised information sources for operational context and source-linked answers. Show dates, missing evidence and changes that need review.
Fictional demonstration / not client work
Switch between two fictional offices, open the relevant guide, inspect training material and test what happens when equipment changes or evidence becomes unreliable.
Commission a single SOP, employee guide, training manual or instructional video. We can deliver the material independently or link it to an existing workspace.
Documentation & staff training →Connected does not mean unrestricted. A customer implementation needs server-side permissions before retrieval, verified joins between records, source monitoring and a tested handover. A QR code identifies a location; it does not grant access. Existing booking, helpdesk and document systems retain their own authority.
Scope follows the work you need: the people using it, the sites or departments involved, the sources to connect and the deliverables to hand over. There is no fixed room count or required starter package.
Confirm the intended users, authorised sources, functionality, permissions, acceptance checks and price.
Implement the agreed system and check it with your team, including incorrect records, outdated instructions and unavailable sources.
Hand over the agreed system, structured exports and administrator instructions. Maintenance and further changes are separately agreed.
No. We assess links and approved integrations first. Replacing bookings, ticketing or signage is a separate project, not a hidden part of this service.
Yes. Maps, SOPs, employee guides, manuals and training videos are available as individual project services. You do not need to buy a connected workspace or a managed IT agreement.
This is a scoped implementation service. The example illustrates an experience, not a deployed customer platform. We choose suitable existing tools or custom components for the agreed requirements and validate integrations and permissions for that project.
Only the agreed systems, hours and update allowance. Project delivery, licences, recording, physical production and continuing support are distinguished in the quote.
Only with permission to use the source and publish the approved details. Internal plans, staff information and unverified routes do not become public just because they can be shown on a map. Visitor maps are not evacuation plans.
Describe the information, the people who need it and the systems you already use. We will quote the project around those requirements.
