Practical help, clearly scoped

From the first question to a working result.

01

Start with the problem your staff are experiencing

An Outlook sign-in loop, missing shared mailbox or confusing file permission can have several causes. We establish who is affected, what changed and whether the problem sits with the account, device, network or Microsoft service. Your staff receive a clear next step instead of having to diagnose it themselves.

02

Keep access aligned with people and roles

New starters need the right licence, groups and applications. Departing staff need an authorised access change and a decision about retained business information. We document the requested access, confirm the business approver and test the result. Administrator access is kept separate from ordinary staff activity where appropriate.

03

Make shared work easier to follow

We help organise agreed Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive changes around how your team actually works. Before moving folders or altering permissions, we identify owners, external sharing needs and affected links. A short staff guide records where information belongs and how to ask for access.

04

Separate support from a migration project

Day-to-day administration can form part of a managed IT agreement. A tenant migration, major file restructure or email platform change needs its own scope, dependency checks and cutover plan. Microsoft subscriptions and backup products are identified separately in the proposal.

Before we talk

A little context helps us get started.

You do not need a technical assessment before making contact. Share what you know; we can work through the gaps together.

  • Your Microsoft 365 tenant or business email domain
  • The affected users and an example of the problem
  • Who can authorise account and sharing changes
  • Any upcoming starters, leavers or planned migration

Questions, answered

The details before you decide.

Something specific to your business? Ask Wayrest.

Can you support an existing Microsoft 365 setup?

Yes. We first confirm authorised access, the current subscriptions and the systems in use. We do not need to migrate a working environment simply to provide support.

Are Microsoft 365 licences included?

Only if the proposal explicitly includes them. Subscription costs, backup products and support labour are identified so you can see what you are paying for.

Can you help with Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive?

Yes. We can investigate everyday faults and agree changes to shared files, permissions and collaboration tools. Larger reorganisations are scoped as projects.

Does Microsoft 365 replace a backup?

Retention and recovery features vary by product and configuration. We review what your business needs to recover, then agree whether separate backup coverage is needed.

Can you take over from our current IT provider?

A planned handover can be arranged. We confirm tenant ownership, administrator access, subscriptions and outstanding work with your authorised contacts before making changes.

Can support be provided remotely?

Many account, email and file issues can be investigated remotely with permission. Device or network faults may also require onsite work, agreed in advance.
