Practical help, clearly scoped

From the first question to a working result.

01

Specify the everyday requirements first

The right device depends on the applications, number of displays, mobility and support needs of the role. We check those requirements before recommending a model. Warranty, expected service life and replacement timing matter alongside the purchase price.

02

Check the entire equipment combination

A laptop, dock, monitors and charger need to work together. We check the agreed display connections, power requirements and peripherals so a promising specification does not hide a practical incompatibility. Existing equipment can be included in the assessment.

03

Make the costs and purchasing responsibility clear

A quote distinguishes equipment, licences, setup labour, delivery and any onsite attendance. Availability and pricing are confirmed when ordering. We agree whether Wayrest coordinates the purchase or you buy the approved equipment directly.

04

Plan beyond the unboxing

Configuration, updates, business accounts and data transfer can be scoped with the installation. The device is recorded in your asset register where agreed. Replacing equipment also needs a decision about retained information and secure handling of the old device.

Questions, answered

The details before you decide.

Something specific to your business? Ask Wayrest.

Can we buy the equipment ourselves?

Yes. We can review the proposed specification and quote setup work separately. Compatibility should be checked before you order.

Do you support equipment bought elsewhere?

Yes, if it is suitable and supported. We confirm condition, compatibility and any limitations before agreeing the installation.

Are hardware costs part of the monthly fee?

Only when explicitly included. Hardware purchases, subscriptions, setup and travel are normally identified as separate items in the quote or agreement.

Can you recommend a replacement schedule?

We can review condition, warranty, performance and business impact, then prioritise replacements. Age alone does not establish that a device must be replaced.

Will you transfer our files?

An agreed setup can include authorised data transfer. We identify the source, destination, information to retain and verification steps before proceeding.

What happens to the old computer?

We agree retention, wiping and disposal responsibilities separately. Information should be preserved or transferred as authorised before any destructive action.

A straightforward next step

Tell us what needs to work better.

We will discuss the setup, the problem and the right next step before proposing work.
