Practical help, clearly scoped

From the first question to a working result.

01

Start with the issue affecting work

We can discuss computer, printer, email, account, software and connection problems, as well as new equipment setup. Share who is affected and what has changed; you do not need to diagnose it before contacting us.

02

Agree the work before we begin

We establish the issue, access and preferred timing, then explain the proposed work and cost. Some problems need investigation before a reliable estimate is possible. If the scope needs to change, we discuss it with you first.

03

Work through the next step

With the business owner’s or authorised person’s permission, we investigate and carry out the agreed work remotely or onsite where appropriate. If the issue involves another supplier or a specialist trade, we explain the handover or coordination needed.

04

Choose ongoing support if it fits

A one-off visit does not require a managed agreement. If recurring problems or broader coverage make ongoing support useful, we can discuss a separate proposal for the systems, hours and responsibilities involved.

Before we talk

A little context helps us get started.

You do not need a technical assessment before making contact. Share what you know; we can work through the gaps together.

  • Your business name, location and a short description of the problem
  • Who is affected and when the problem started
  • A contact authorised to approve work and access
  • Any error messages, equipment details or relevant supplier information

Questions, answered

The details before you decide.

Something specific to your business? Ask Wayrest.

Do we need a managed IT contract?

No. A specific investigation, setup or project can be agreed separately. Ongoing support is a separate option.

Can you come to our workplace?

Onsite visits can be arranged subject to location and availability. We agree any travel, scheduling and costs before the visit.

Can you work with our current IT provider?

We can discuss a defined piece of work with clear authorisation, responsibilities and an appropriate contact at the existing provider.

How much will it cost?

The cost depends on the work, location, access and time involved. We explain the proposed scope and price before starting and discuss any change before proceeding.

Can you fix every problem in one visit?

Not every fault can be resolved immediately. Parts, supplier access, specialist work or further investigation may be needed; we will explain the next step.

Can we ask about home technology too?

Yes. Wayrest also helps households with computers, Wi-Fi, devices and other home technology. See the Home IT section for the range of help.

A straightforward next step

Tell us what needs to work better.

We will discuss the setup, the problem and the right next step before proposing work.
