Practical help, clearly explained

How we can help.

01

Understand what matters

Identify the photos, documents, contacts and other information you want to protect or move, and check where it is currently stored.

02

Choose a backup

Discuss external-drive and cloud options, costs, access and a sensible schedule, then configure the agreed approach.

03

Move and check

Help transfer accessible data to a compatible device and check a sample together before any agreed cleanup.

Before we talk

What to have ready.

Share what you know. You do not need to diagnose the problem yourself.

  • Both devices, their chargers and any external storage.
  • Access to relevant accounts and existing backups.
  • A list of the files or photos most important to you.

Questions, answered

The details before you decide.

Have a question? Ask Wayrest.

Can all my files and apps be moved?

Not always. Compatibility, account access, licences, storage and device condition affect what can be transferred. We discuss limits first.

Can you recover files from a failed drive?

We can discuss the symptoms and appropriate next steps. Stop using a failing drive when important data may be at risk; specialist recovery may be needed, and results cannot be guaranteed.

Will you delete my old files?

Only if you authorise the specific deletion after discussing the risks and checking your new copy or backup.

A straightforward next step

Tell us what you need help with.

We will talk through the problem, the options and the cost before agreeing to work.
